Mrs. Payton's class joined our class for another engineering design challenge: Bone Bridge. This time we added another layer, financial literacy. The scholars were given a budget for construction. When we test, they will be paid $1 for every 5 cubes of load their bridge can hold. They will pay $1 for every inch their bridge is too short and a total of $1 if the planks are too far apart.

Constructing a Bone Bridge At Home!
Sanjay and his family decided to give the Bone Bridge Challenge a try at home. From the pictures below you will see they were quite successful in constructing a bone bridge that held significant load! I think Sanjay will have much to offer his peers!
Keyboarding with Mr. Isaacs
Using an iPad is fun, but when it comes to working on a Mac with a keyboard, hunting and pecking with two fingers isn't very proficient! Today we went to the computer lab to begin our keyboarding and using a mouse lesson. We greatly appreciate Mr. Isaacs for his willingness to guide us in our learning!
