Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Our class had a wonderful morning of singing, playing and eating; we even celebrated Ace's birthday! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 

Family Game Night

Calling all families! PTA is sponsoring a Family Game Night on Thursday, December 19. This fun, free event will include food and prizes from Santa! This is a perfect opportunity for the family to spend some quality time together, visit with other Cannon families and see the big man himself, Santa! Our Water Color "Homes For The Holidays"

Scholars used water color paint to add some color to their house ornaments.

"Homes For The Holidays"

For our annual community service project, Cannon scholars are raising money to donate to a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Scholars will be using the Engineering Desing Process to create an ornament. The theme for this project is "Homes For the Holidays". Ornaments will be displayed on grade level trees and will be "sold" for a suggested donation of $2.00. All proceeds will go directly to Habitat for Humanity.

Holiday Traditions Around The World

 With the help of Mrs. Berumen and Mrs. Goins we are researching how different countries around the world celebrate this holiday season.
