Young Engineers Night

Our school hosted another outstanding Young Engineers Night last night! Our entire faculty was involved and broken into various engineering groups. I was a part of the Chemical Engineering Group. Our group designed 3 different experiences for the event. For scholars in 3rd - 5th, they were turning milk into plastic to then make jewelry. Very smelly, but oh so way cool! For those scholars in Kindergarten- 2nd grade, we had two different experiences. In one room they made magnetic slime. In the other room they made bouncy balls. Both of these were rather messy but a huge hit! I was in the room were scholars were using a glue mixture and a Borax mixture to make a bouncy ball. This was such a HUGE hit with the scholars that I was only able to take a few pictures!
