Materials: 10 wooden cubes, 10 jumbo craft sticks, 10 3oz. Plastic cups
Constraints: Must use all the materials and cups may not be stacked inside each other.
The scholars worked with a partner to complete today's challenge. The question on each pairs mind was....What does the base have to be....please not 1 cube! Once they learned that the base could be as large as they wanted, they got busy! Yesterday's mini lesson took...scholar's were borrowing ideas from each other and didn't try to hide it! One scholar said, "we're not copying, just learning from someone else!".
