Where To Place Our Stepping Stones

First Grade began by taking their stepping stone templates out to the gardens to get an idea of how the placement like look. We worked through several issue like placing them too close together or not close enough. We also talked about creating walking paths going from one garden to the next. After this, we went back inside and made a map of the gardens. Working with a partner, we used 67 cubes to represent the stones and made a plan.
