100th Day of School
Today was a very exciting day in Kindergarten.....the 100th day of school! To celebrate, we spent the day participating in rotations that revolve around the number 100. In my classroom, the scholars worked in pairs or groups of three to accomplish the design challenge. They were given: 25 small cups, 25 wooden cubes and 50 Keva Planks. The challenge was to build a structure using all 100 pieces.
More Ramps!
Ariana decided to join the inclined plane/ramp investigation by constructing a ramp. Arian's ramp is divided into two surfaces: smooth and bumpy. To create the bumpy side, she used glitter paint and sticky tape.

100 Day Projects
The 100th day of school is Thursday, February 4. In preparation of this very special day, the scholars were given a 100 Challenge. Scholars were to select 100 of anything and then find as many different ways to group their 100 objects. They had full control over how they wanted to present their project.
