Building Words

The scholars tried something new today.....Building Words with a partner. The scholars were given the letters: a, e, i, c, h, m, n,s. Together they were given the task of building as many words as they possibly could. Doing this activity the scholars were applying their knowledge of letters, sounds and words.

Dinosaur George

Thanks to our awesome PTA, the scholars had the opportunity to learn about dinosaurs!  This traveling museum was incredible and our scholars loved seeing and learning!

Investigating Water

The scholars have been learning about Natural Resources with a focus on: water, soil and rocks. The scholars completely amazed me with all that know about water. They used terms like: evaporation, water cycle, water sources and precipitation. We used the hand lens to observe water to determine it's source: pond, salt water, rain water and tap water.

Building with a Partner

Knowing how to collaborate and work with a partner is one of the traits of a 21st Century Learner. 

Our Holiday Party

The scholars enjoyed their last day before their winter break by watching The Polar Express and eating some yummy treats provided by the Kindergarten parents.
